Happy Halloween and Happy Birthdays!

Our little Peacock- isn't this one of the cutest things you have ever seen!
Here's a full length shot- we didn't think it would fit, but it turned out great. I saw the outfit in my Parents magazine, and I had to have it!

Mom with her peacock granddaughter
Well Audrey wanted to eat- so you have a crying baby picture. It's hard to keep all of them happy and take a good picture.
The girls at Jeremy's work really love Audrey and when they heard she was going to be a Peacock they insisted that I bring her up to see. By the way if you haven't heard- Jeremy recently was offered a job with Blue Cross Blue Shield and he starts on Nov. 12, Audrey and I are very proud of him.

Mom's birthday is Halloween so we celebrated with her favorite french silk pie
Jon of course wanted to help blow out the candles.
Lily hanging out with Grandma- she was not feeling too good - so only Grandma would do.
Little Pilgrim and a Power Ranger. It's a good picture of Jon and Lily b/c Elsa was reading to them.
Mighty Morphin Power Ranger!!!

Audrey with some of her favorite people!
I love this picture b/c Audrey was staring at her Great Grandma.

so sweet!
My Grandma's birthday is the day b/f halloween- so we went to celebrate with her.
More time with Great Grandma!!
Audrey's Great Aunt Kelly and cousin Sydney
I had been trying to get this picture for a while- I love it she sits in her vibrating chair and stares at herself in the mirror- so cute.

Fun with baby Audrey

Finally a successful bath with NO crying- thanks for the tip Brenna. This picture is much cuter.
Audrey has definitely found her hands. I think this is one of the milestones she is supposed to reach - I was reading the other day and she is actually doing a lot of them that I didn't even know were milestones. She imitated Jeremy today and stuck out her tounge every time he did- and she will move her head to follow him around the room.
Those darn nails -I swear I cut them every other day. At least it doesn't seam to bother her.
We were having family time on our bed- she was pretty happy to have both her mom and dad there. I really look forward to weekends when Jeremy and I are both home to play with her- if Audrey could talk I bet she would say she looks forward to it too.

Audrey LOVES her play mat- the orange thing makes noise and she continually hits at it. There is also a mirror that she is quite fond of looking at herself- she's too young to be vain right...
We had a play date with Brenna and Sydney ( Maddie and Jackie were there too, but no pictures, darn) and Audrey really liked this grinch- hey whatever works right.
It will be fun when Audrey is big enough to play too.
How sweet - Uncle Justin stopped by for a visit.

Really Big Weekend!!

This weekend we had Audrey blessed at church. We felt so honored to have my cousins Jeff and Karyn Manuel do the blessing. We had so many firends and family that came- we love you all and appreciate you sharing in such a special moment in our lives. We were trying to take a picture with Grandma and Grandpa after church- of course Audrey was crying b/c she was hungry.
Jeff offering the prayer of blessing. Karyn said Audrey seemed to have a calm come over her as soon as Jeff began to pray.
Grandpa figured Audrey would scream through the prayer- actually she slept though the whole service. She woke up when I handed her to Karyn, but some how I imagine she knew what was going on becuase she was a perfect baby.
It was such a beautiful service- and The prayer was so special.
I think this was the moment of the hand off- Karyn was so nervous ( but she truly kept Audrey calm any time she held her this weekend.) I have always loved my mother's voice- it has such a claming sound. It meant so much to have her read during the service- she read "the gift of a child"
If you have never heard my brother sing you are missing out- he has a beautiful singing voice- and we appreciate so much that he sang for Audrey's blessing.

Kelly was taking pictures for us- and she caught some great crowd pictures. What's funny about this picture is we are all watching Jeremy change Audrey's diaper- he is such a great dad.
One of my best friends Brenna and her husband Jeff came to the service with their beautiful daughter Sydney. Here she and Lily are playing the piano ( or banging the keys.)
My Aunt Judy came for the blessing- we were talking about how Audrey has my Nana's chin in this picture. This is probably the best picture of Audrey's dress- and those RED shoes!!
Here's Audrey with her cousin Sydney.

This weekend was the KC Marathon. About six months ago the cousins decided that it would be fun for everyone to be involved. Maybe this is why it took me so long to get pregnant - so that I could get out of it. Despite Michael not really training- he did a great job!!
Elsa looking good. Mom, Jon, Lily, Audrey and I were there to cheer her on. I know Mom and I didn't run, but I promise you we were pobably just as tired taking care of the kids.
Dad and Kelly(baby Yoder too) having fun walking the 1/2 Marathon. Kelly even had time to snap pictures(yes she is better than me- I got out of the marathon for having a baby and she did it while pregnant.) My dad turned 56 last tuesday- he is really putting me to shame that he did the marathon and I didn't. I am really proud of you Dad!!
A group photo of all the Marathoners- Jeremy, Dad, Ryan, Kelly, Karyn, Jeff, Elsa, Mike, and Jamie. You guys are awesome. Jeff was #1 (7 minute miles- wow!!) and Jeremy and Karyn despite not running togther finished at the exact same time.
You can see- no one was too tired for a little fun.

Trying to get around KC with all the streets blocked was really hard- so unfortunately I didn't get to see Jeremy actually running. He finished in a little over two hours and didn't really train- Audrey and I are so proud of him!!
We got together on Friday night for a pasta dinner for all the people running the marathon. This was the first time Audrey got to meet Karyn.
Jeff and Karyn live in Denver while Jeff is in his residency- so this was a great weekend with them- we wish you guys lived closer.
Audrey with my Aunt MaryJo- unfortunately Audrey always seemed to be passed to her when she was getting fussy- we promise she loves you very much Aunt MJ

Grandpa's Birthday , bonding with Sasha, and cute pictures

Okay I know this borders on inappropriate, but I wanted everyone to see her growing belly and the rolls on her legs. She is still so small- but she is growing.
She is still not a fan of baths- but we got her in her big girl tub finally.
just a cute picture- she was getting her diaper changed- at least she doesn't cry when we do that
we tried to get a picture of her looking at the camera- but I guess she would rather look at her momma
"I am not really sure about this.."
"Okay maybe we can be friends.."
Sasha going in for the kiss. We are getting much more comfortable with sasha being close to Audrey. I was laying on the couch with Audrey and Sasha came to lay down with us- I love that they are mirroring each other.
My sleepy baby- all ready for bed in her pj's

Happy Birthday Grandpa!! Audrey got to celebrate Grandpa's birthday with her cousins- unfortunately she didn't get any brownies.Grandpa and his grandkids- Audrey, Lily, and Jon. ( We can't wait until baby Yoder joins this group!!)
She was "Grandpa's cutie"
I love my grandpa!!!
